With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Douglas Brian Smith (Apex, North Carolina), born in Cleveland, Ohio, who passed away on January 16, 2019 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his sisters, Beverly Anderson and Diana Thomsen. He is survived by: his wife Lynne Smith; his daughters, Erin Hite (John), Meeghan Rhoads and Mara Craft (Sam); his brother William H. Smith III (Marcia); and his grandchildren, Avery Rhoads, Ryan Rhoads, Smith Craft and Zenik Hite.
