She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael Karson and Martha Zavisky Karson; her siblings, John Karson, Anne Artman, Sophie Simak, Katherine Karson, Pete Karson and Paul Karson; and her nieces, Karen Pelczar and Andrea Pelczar Turney (Don).

She is survived by: her sister Mary Pelczar of Apex, NC. She is also survived by ten nieces and nephews as well as many great nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made in Dorothy's honor to Holy Virgin Ukrainian Orthodox Church in Arnold, PA.
