With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Doris Nanney Winstead of Apex, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 1, 2024 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Otis Nanney and Mildred Fulford Nanney; her daughter Wynette Winstead; and her siblings, Lib Worthington, Lois Sain, Ray Nanney, Robert Nanney and Carl "Sam" Nanney.
She is survived by: her son Wayne Winstead (Cara) of Cary; and her grandson Noah Winstead (Tanika) of Raleigh. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews; and many friends.
