She is survived by: her children, Michael Bethea, Natalie Peoples, Teresa Bethea Farmer, Danita Bethea and Mary Bethea Fisher; and her siblings, Nathaniel Peoples (Faye), Russell Peoples, Joseph Peoples and Sadie P. Rivers. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren and 38 great-grandchildren.
