He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Lucy Powell (Aucion) and Donald Powell of Sulphur; his siblings, Jay Powell of Chapel Hill and Sheri Chandler (Doug); and his daughters, Jessica Powell (Richard) of Apex and Rachel Powell Grainger (Chad) of Cameron. He was also cherished by his 8 grandchildren.
