With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Donald Hyden of Apex, North Carolina, who passed away on December 19, 2021 at the age of 81. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Donald Hyden to pay them a last tribute.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Anne Kathryn and William Spencer Hyden; his wife Norma J. Hyden; his children, Elizabeth Elbert (Chris), Cindy Seder (Mike), Vicky Serany (Dan) and John Zwick; his grandchildren, Luke, Andrew Elbert, Carley Brese (Alex), Cayla, Cole Seder, Jacqueline and Brian Serany; and his pet Lilly.
Don had been enjoying retirement until unexpectedly last year the pandemic called him back into the workforce - when he cheerfully changed career paths and proceeded to achieve what ended up being the capstone of his professional career – as the first grade teacher for his grandson Luke with the dining room table as the classroom.
