He is survived by: his wife Chiquita Fields Douglas of Apex, NC; his sisters, Annie L. Purcell of Greensboro, NC, Betty L. Derrickson of Red Springs, NC and Wanda S. Douglas of Red Springs, NC; his sister-in-law Annette Douglas of Bronx; and his aunt Glynell Monroe of Red Springs, NC.. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Oak City Baptist Church (726 Method Rd, Raleigh, NC 27603). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 at the Raleigh Memorial Park (7501 Glenwood Ave, Raleigh, NC 27612).
