She was predeceased by: her parents, George Barr and Marcine Barr; and her brother Jeff. She is survived by: her husband Greg Olson; her children, Julie, Suzanne (Sibel) and Peter; her sisters, Mary (Barr-Gilbert) and Linda (Stelling); and her grandchildren, Bryce, Claire, Abby, Kyle, Cameron and Mia.
The family will have a private memorial service at a later date, after the pandemic allows for safe travel and gathering.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that a donation be made in her memory to the American Cancer Society or your local PBS station, as she loved and enjoyed public television her entire life.
