He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Morris and Myrtle Morris; his wife Jane Kinslow Morris; and his brothers, Arnold Morris and Robert Nelson Morris.
He is survived by: his daughters, Donna Murphy (Mike) and Diane White (Rich); his sisters, Freida Webb (James) and Betty Layne Barnett; and his grandchildren, Rylan Murphy (Kelli), Shaine Murphy (Alexa), Weston Murphy (Emily), Shaylyn Murphy, Jennifer White and Alan White. He is also survived by four great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of customary remembrances, memorial contributions may be donated to the Food Bank of Central & Eastern NC or Wounded Warrior Project.
