She was predeceased by: her parents, Irwin Vigness and Thelma Vigness. She is survived by: her son Charles Benhoff (Tamara); her grandsons, Will and Carl; her son David Benhoff (Jenifer); her granddaughter Sarah; her daughter Elizabeth McAndrew (Michael); her grandchildren, John, Daniel, Michael McAndrew and Emily Anderson; and her children, Connor and Cameron Strapp. She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her honor to St. Jude Hospital or Hillsdale College.
