She was predeceased by: her parents, Alex Ander Collins and Harriet O'Quinn Collins; and her husband Dorsey Jackson. She is survived by: her children, Linda Phillips (Roland) of Chesterfield, VA and Robert Scott (Julie Patten Scott) of Centerville, MO.; her sister Helen Gooch of Cary, NC; her close friend Paul Cartrette of Apex, NC; and her grandchildren, Jessica Scott, Michelle Scott, Allison Bell and John Phillips.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Good Hope Baptist Church Cemetery (6636 Good Hope Church Rd, Cary, NC 27519).
