It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Brenda Wimberley Blalock of Apex, North Carolina, who passed away on October 27, 2022, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Helen Scott Wimberley and Linwood Wimberley of Apex; and her son Steven. She is survived by: her husband Dewey R. Blalock, Jr.; her son D. Mark Blalock (Carol) of Angier; her grandchildren, Emily Blalock Long (Eric) of Concord, William M. Blalock (Will), Taylor S. Blalock of Angier, Catherine, Caleb and Ryan Blalock of Fuquay; her sister Teresa Wimberley Koeppen (Paul) of Apex; her siblings-in-law, Richard H. Blalock (Carol) of Angier and Sharon K. Blalock (Marcia Tillotson) of Charlotte; her nieces, Stacey (Rick), Amy (Bonn) and Jill (Tom); and her caregiver Charlie.
