She was predeceased by: her parents, Mattie King Washington and Jesse Henry Washington; and her sisters, Mattie Brown (Miles) and Dorothy Washington. She is survived by: her children, Natasha Johnson Moore (Corey) and Christopher Washington; her sister Ida Powell (Clinton); and her granddaughters, Nyesha and Kori Moore. She is also survived by grandchildren, nieces, nephews, godchildren, extended family, and dear friends.
A memorial service was held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Christian Home Christian Church (700 Center St, Apex, NC 27502).
