He was predeceased by: his parents, David Benton Barbour and Anna Belle Morris Barbour; his brother David Barbour; and his brother-in-law James Lambert. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Bolan Barbour; his children, Jan Wellons (Jay) of Pittsboro, Sharon Barbour of Hillsborough and John Barbour (Ginny) of Moncure; his sister Dawn Lambert of Fancy Gap, VA; and his grandchildren, Sarah, Andrew Barbour, Elizabeth, Emily and Matthew Wellons.
