She was predeceased by: her parents, Coy Thomas Bowling and Violet Nordan Bowling; and her brother Timothy "Tim" Thomas Bowling. She is survived by: her sisters, Martha B. Wood (Frank) of Angier and Carolyn Byrd (Wayne) of Raleigh. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
