She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd Hampton Altman, Sr. and Sarah Hodges Altman; her husband L. Reid Penny; her brother Lloyd (Altman, Jr.); her sister-in-law Nancy Andrews Altman; her niece Pamela Ann Altman; her brother-in-law Stacy Blake Penny; and her nephew Johnny Blake Penny.
She is survived by: her daughter Dr. Sharon Lynn Penny (Terry Holder); her niece Kimberly Lynn Altman; her nephews, Hampton Altman III (Tina), Alan Penny (Nancy) and Eric Penny; her sister-in-law Idell Penny; her niece-in-law Celia Penny; her friend Margie Dorman Stewart; her pet Rufus Altman-Penny; and her friend Dept.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Bryan-Lee Funeral Home (300 E McIver St, Angier, NC 27501). A funeral service was held on Sunday, November 10th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Angier Baptist Church (155 S Hickory St, Angier, NC 27501).
