He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorsey Bernard Dupree and Mallie Ennis Dupree; his siblings, Patsy O'Neal, Evelyn O'Neal and Wilburn Dupree; his wife Mary Lynn Smith Dupree; and his son Barry Sherman Dupree.
He is survived by: his daughters, Tammy Richelle Ferebee of Greenville, NC and Heather Dawn Dupree Marler (Ronald "Mark") of Newton Grove, NC..
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Bryan-Lee Funeral Home-Angier (300 E McIver St, Angier, NC 27501). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Bryan-Lee Funeral Chapel - Angier (300 E McIver St, Angier, NC 27501). A burial was held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Lakeside Memorial Gardens (2712 Oak Grove Church Rd, Angier, NC 27501).
