She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Byrd and Estelle Byrd; her children, Tommy Dismukes III and Cathy Sparks; and her brother Bobby Carroll Byrd.

She is survived by: her grandchildren, Jeremy Sparks and Kyle Dyson.
