With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley Mae Solomon of Angier, North Carolina, who passed away on January 11, 2021 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John Matthews and Gertie Narcissus; her husband Brannon Joseph Solomon, Sr.; her daughter Deborah Solomon Reck; and her brothers, Peter Mitchell, Joseph Cormier and Louis Cormier.

She is survived by: her children, Lisa Solomon Ford of Marianna, FL, Leslie Solomon Williams of Spring Lake, Brannon Solomon of Chesapeake, VA and Daniel Solomon (Melina) of Angier; and her sister Earlean Sanders of Port Arthur, TX. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
