She was predeceased by: her husband Jay Cotten; her parents, Ben Stephenson and Rena Stephenson; and her sister Jean Flowers. She is survived by: her sons, Danny Cotten and Michael Cotten (Lisa); and her grandchildren, Matthew Cotten (Sima), Claudia Calo (Elisha) and John Cotten (Michaela).
Visitation was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Bryan-Lee Funeral Home - Angier (300 E McIver St, Angier, NC 27501). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at the Angier Memorial Cemetery.
