She is survived by: her mother Stella Ballentine of Angier, NC; her son Dekel Ballentine; her siblings, Kemberli Stephenson of Holly Springs, NC, Jeffery Ballentine of Angier, NC, Kevin Sligh of Waldorf, MD, Oscar Holland, Jr. of Raleigh, NC and Gerren Ballentine; her grandmothers, Mae Pearl Ballentine and Mary McKoy of Fuquay-Varina, NC; her mother Genelle Sligh of Philadelphia, PA; her aunts and uncles, Rueteen Ballentine of Angier, NC, Teresa McLean of Angier, NC, Lin Ballentine of Angier, NC, Linda Ballentine of Lillington, NC, Emma McKoy of Fuquay, Theresa Judd of Willow Spring, NC, Jackie McKoy of Fuquay-Varina, NC, George Jordan (Patricia) of Fuquay-Varina, NC and Bishop Aaron Jordan (Charlotte) of Willow Spring, NC; and her godson Ja'Mez Gunn. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
