With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Samuel Ray Blalock Jr. (Angier, North Carolina), who passed away on September 1, 2019 at the age of 50. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father Samuel Ray Blalock Sr.; and his grandparents, Ralph, Inez Blalock, Henry and Beatrice Bowling.

He is survived by: his mother Faye Bowling B. Holloman; his wife Lela Kirk Blalock; his siblings, Kim Price (Tim) of Willow Spring, Heather Barefoot (Kevin) of Benson, Shane Williams of Fuquay-Varina and Christopher Blalock of Florida; his aunt Brenda Nicely (Chuck) of Willow Spring; and his sister-in-law Tracey Newberg (Jim) of Garner. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
