He is survived by: his sons, Randy (Tamsen) and Derek (Tammy); his wife Patsy Spivey; and his grandchildren, Haylee McLean, Heather McLean, Elizabeth McLean and Nolan McLean. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
