She was predeceased by: her parents, Nathaniel Pollard and Rosa Howard Pollard; her husband Alvin Blalock; her sons, David Blalock and Ray Blalock; and her sisters, Almaire Parrott, Allene Partin and Henrietta Dupree.
She is survived by: her daughter Shirlene Beddard of Wilson. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
