She is survived by: her husband Charles Dent; her son Rodney Dent (Tonya) of Fuquay-Varina; and her sisters, Willie Mae Stokes of Linden, Della Mae Stokes of Angier and Yvonne Reta (John) of Fuquay-Varina. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
