He was predeceased by: his parents, Goldie Mae James and Joe Silas Cox. He is survived by: his wife Lisa Cox of Fayetteville; his son Samuel Cox of Fayetteville; his brother Miles Kimbrell Cox of Phoenix, Arizona; his aunts, Edna Smith of Coats, Norma James of Coats and Rachel James of Coats; his uncle William W. James of Coats; and his mother-in-law Betty Blue Gholston of Wagram. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and many friends.
