Though Roger Wood may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Roger Wood touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Britton and Lillie Wood Ballard. He is survived by: his wife Wanda Louise Souther; his son Barry Ballard (Ruthie) of Columbia, SC; his brother Blake Ballard (Lynda) of Moscow, ID; his grandchildren, April Folger (David) of Columbia, SC and Ethan Ballard of Columbia, SC; and his great grandchildren, Preston, Paige and Hazel. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins.
