He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Weis and Sarah Weis. He is survived by: his wife Virginia McLeod Weis; his children, Timothy Joseph Weis (Kelly McLeod) and Jennifer Weis Hendges (Chris Hendges) of Angier; his grandchildren, Logan Weis Barfield (Will), Ashton Weis Hatley (Chad), Taylor Hendges Messer (Tyson), Madison Hendges Bryant (Christopher) and Garrett Joseph Weis; his great grandchildren, Joseph "Crew" Hatley, Tinsley Messer and Baby Bryant; his sister Bonnie Young; his nephews, Brian Johnson, Kelvin Johnson and Matthew Young; and his niece Tabitha Young Deller.
