He was predeceased by: his father Ben Tillman; his wife Shirley Mae Holland Yeargan; and his siblings, Ray Yeargan, Peggy Smith, Phyllis Yokeley, Sammy Yeargan and Roger Yeargan.
He is survived by: his sons, Frankie Sorrell, Michael Sorrell (Lee) and Benny Rex Yeargan (Elaine); his grandchildren, Chris Sorrell, Matt Sorrell (Ella), David Sorrell (Kaylin), Brandon Yeargan (Stephanie), Evan Yeargan (Katey), Morgan Yeargan and Desiree McClamroch (Johnny); his great grandchildren, Valerie, Gracie, Sam, Micah, Aiden, Halei, Rylei and Haley; and his sisters, Patricia Hamilton (Hubert) and Ellen Pemberton. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
