It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rachel Tart Pleasant of Angier, North Carolina, who passed away on January 3, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Allen Tart and Lessie Pearl Tew Tart; her husband Joe Donald Pleasant; and her brothers, Maylon Tart (Patricia Tart Dorman) and Junior Tart.
She is survived by: her children, Donald Alan Pleasant (Gwen) of Angier, NC and Donna P. Zuniga (Humberto) of Angier, NC; her grandchildren, Anna Jo Koch (Joshua), Paige Dorman (Johnathon) and Bella Zuniga; her great grandchildren, Finley Koch, Alaina Dorman and Willa Grey Dorman; and her sister-in-law Pam Tart of Coats, NC. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
