We bid farewell to Mike Smith (Angier, North Carolina), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 5, 2024 at the age of 77. Mike touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Prentiss Allie Smith and Lorena Rambaut Smith; his brothers, James Smith, Ray Smith, Gene Smith and Fred Smith; his stepgranddaughter Christina Durham; and his son-in-law Randy Jones.
He is survived by: his wife Blanche Smith; his children, Michelle Jones of Duncan and Roger "Keith" Smith (Terri) of Angier; his sisters, Polly Godwin of Charlotte and Peggy Spencer (Bill) of Smithfield; his grandchildren, Michael Jones, Joshua Jones, Hope Jones, Christopher Smith and Rebecca Temple; his stepgrandchildren, Brittany Sorenth and Stephan "Steve" Arnold; his great grandchildren, Abel Jones, Noah Jones, Lucas Jones, Isabell Temple, Delilah Temple and Parker Jones; and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Tyler, Logan, Kaleb, Grayson and Hadley.
A memorial service was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Bryan-Lee Funeral Home (300 E McIver St, Angier, NC 27501).
