He is survived by: his wife Sandra Currie; his children, Maria Cox (Marcus), Tiffany Clark (Preston Diggs), Michael Currie, Jr., Shequita Elliott (Anthony Elliott, Jr.), Phillip Currie, Tracy Bynum of Lillington, Bradley Monroe (Keanae) of Colorado and Deante Monroe; his parent Pearlie Ray; and his siblings, Diane McDougald, Willie Currie, Bobby Currie (Shelly), Lorraine Currie, Jeffrey Ray (Yolanda), Andrew Ray and Robert Earl Ray. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
The public viewing will be Friday, March 26, 2021 from 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm at the Dafford Funeral Home, Angier, with masks required to enter, practicing social distancing, and no more than 10 individuals inside at one time.
