He was predeceased by: his granddaughter Kaitlyn Owens; and his siblings, Elouise Mangum, Ollie Faye Brown, Billy Ray Gregory, Doward Gregory, James Gregory and Danford Gregory.
He is survived by: his wife Yvonne Y. Gregory; his children, Kimberly Gregory Owens (Daniel) of Angier and Wesley Maynard Gregory, Jr. (Erica) of Angier; his grandchildren, Alexandra Owens, Caden Gregory, Dylan Owens, Aspen Gregory, Keenan Gregory, Sebastian Owens and Easton Gregory; his siblings, Janice Hawley of Willow Spring, Daphene Barnes of Angier, Lynette Baker (Joe) of Virginia, Dorenda "Dee" Holland (Brad) of Raleigh, Larry Gregory (Peggy) of Raleigh and Warren Gregory (Gwen) of Raleigh; his sisters-in-law, Dorothy Gregory, Joyce Gregory, Alicia Gregory and Dot Gregory; and his close friend David Brown (Joy) of Lillington. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
