She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Watius Whitman and Mary Alice Barnes Whitman; her husband Otha Honeycutt of Angier; her children, Jo Ann Barnes of Angier, Charlotte Kelly (Kevin) of Wendell, Kevin Jernigan (Jenny) of Angier and Tommy Barnes (Donna) of Angier; her grandchildren, Clay Ausley (Missy), Dalton Jernigan, Tonya Inscore (Billy) and Kathy Ward; and her grandmother Nad Lane of Angier, NC.. She was also cherished by four great-grandchildren.
