It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mary Ann Spivey Wortham (Angier, North Carolina), who passed away on October 23, 2022, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Marvin Lafayette and Margie Lee Pollard Spivey; her husband Wayne Marshall Wortham; her sister Daisy Currin; and her sisters-in-law, Treva Spivey and Ruby Spivey.
She is survived by: her children, Alan Wortham (Michelle) of Angier and Lavette Pope (Mike) of Fuquay-Varina; her grandchildren, Brian Pope (Amanda), April Pope, Bruce Wortham (Mary Beth), Ariel Wortham, Tori Slusser (Josiah) and Austin Matthews (Xochil); and her siblings, Bobbie Rhodes, W. Clinton Spivey (Debra), Glenn Spivey (Helen) and Mitchel Spivey. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
