He was predeceased by: his parents, Jerry T. Pleasant and Virginia G. Pleasant; and his brother Mitchell D. Pleasant. He is survived by: his sister Robin P. Marks (Stephen) of Raleigh; his niece Caroline M. Stevenson (Casey) of Raleigh; and his nephew Alexander Marks of Raleigh.
