He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther W. DeWitt, Jr. and Margaret Osborne DeWitt; and his son Brandon DeWitt. He is survived by: his daughter Rebecca Peterson; his grandchildren, Aniya and Axton; his son Michael DeWitt; and his grandchildren, Jackson and Stella.
