She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Oscar and Irma Ward Core; and her husband Clyde F. Pate. She is survived by: her brothers, Howard, David and Lessane Core; her daughter Sue P. Cummings (Lewis) of Lillington; her siblings, Willie Core of Clayton, Jimmy Core (Pam) of Dunn, Alice Montgomery of Fayetteville, Vicky Core and Lanette Williford of Benson; her grandson Link Neal (Christy) of Los Angeles, California; her great grandchildren, Lily, Lincoln and Lando Neal; and her pet Sam.
