It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leonard David Hendges (Angier, North Carolina), born in Jackson, Michigan, who passed away on July 28, 2023, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Hendges and Louise Hendges; and his siblings, Deloris, Richard, Carleton and George "Bud" Hendges.
He is survived by: his wife Ruby; his siblings, Ted Hendges, Betty Dumbauld and Annette Demerest (Ron); his sons, Christopher David Hendges (Jennifer) and Kevin Eugene Hendges (Melissa); his grandchildren, Taylor Hendges Messer (Tyson), Madison Hendges Bryant (Christopher), Graham Charles Douglas, Brendan Gregory Douglas, Keylie Nicole Hendges (Ben) and Koen Sean Hendges; his great grandchildren, Tinsley Elizabeth Messer and Patrick Joseph Bryant; and also Victoria. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
