He is survived by: his sons, Scott James (Shannon) of Knightdale and Travis James (April) of Selma; his grandchildren, Elizabeth, Emma James of Knightdale, Austin, Abbey James of Fuquay-Varina and Tyler Wilder of Zebulon; his siblings, Mary Lois James Sartin (Gordon) of Angier and Kenneth Lane James of Angier; his niece Tracy Sartin Perry (Ricky) of Angier; and his great-nephew Daniel Perry.
