It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Larry Cecil Surles (Angier, North Carolina), who passed away on March 17, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Estelle Surles; his sister Linda Surles Mangum; his brothers-in-law, Ben Price and Larry Mangum; and his stepbrother Bobby Partin.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Elizabeth S. Surles; his children, Jennifer Surles Battle and Gary C. Surles; his grandson Cody Battle; and his siblings, Faye S. Price, Brenda S. Hockaday (Jerry), Robert Surles (Reecie) and Billy Surles (Joyce). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
