He is survived by: his wife Diane Adams; his daughter April Wheeler (Whit) of Angier; his siblings, Wyonna Johnson (Charlie) of Angier, Wincer Best of Angier and Warren Adams (Donna) of Angier; his grandsons, Reid Hedgepeth (Hannah), Will Wheeler (McKenzie) and Chuck Wheeler; and his great grandchild Grayson Parker Wheeler. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
