He was predeceased by: his parents, James Furnie Pope and Vida Williams Pope; his wife Kathleen Pope; and his son Johnny Ray Pope. He is survived by: his children, Douglas Pope (Glenda) and Ann Bennett (Don); and his grandchildren, James Pope (Jana), Travis Bennett (Cheryl), Teri Brown (Chris), Kristen Bowen (Rio), Kelley Duncan (Ryan), Kathryn Parker (Kellen) and Johnny C. Pope (Amanda). He is also survived by eighteen great grandchildren.
