He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Evan Bryant Hendricks, Sr. and Grace Appleby Hendricks; his wife Margaret of Angier; his children, Nancy Brody (Rees) of Mooresville, NC, Kim Truesdale (Eric) of Angier, NC, Polly Perret of Angier, NC, Paula Brown of Lexington, SC, Artie Hendricks (Valerie) of Raleigh, NC. and John Kirkwood Hendricks, Jr.; and his brothers, George Hendricks, Buddy Hendricks of Charleston, Richard Hendricks and Evan Bryant Hendricks, Jr. (EB). He was also cherished by 12 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
