He is survived by: his wife Mary Lane; his children, Jimmy Cecil Lane Jr. (Nyeta) of Fayetteville and Cecilia Lane of Mount Vernon, NY; and his siblings, Shirley Mae Smith (George) of Erwin, Juanita Roberts (Roosevelt) of Laurinburg and Sim Douglas "Doug" Lane (Wanda) of Fayetteville. He is also survived by five grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
