He was predeceased by: his father Maxie Wilkins; his brother Thomas Wilkins; his son-in-law Ricky Johnson; and his granddaughter Jennifer J. Pope. He is survived by: his children, Jerry "Allen" Wilkins Jr. (Connie), Scott Wilkins and Pamela Wilkins Johnson; his grandson Daniel; and his great grandchildren, Austin Carroll, Caitlin Pope, Nathan Pope, Kayla Johnson and Cole Johnson.
