She is survived by: her children, Elbert Scriven of Clayton, NC and Jacklean Purcell of Raeford, NC; and her sisters, Ruby Haywood of Willow Spring, NC, Marjorie Scriven of Durham, NC and Denise Scriven-Highsmith of Durham, NC. She is also survived by four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.
