He is survived by: his mother Rhonda Wood Clapp of Angier; his daughters, Hailey Nicole Clapp and Alayna Michelle Clapp of Erwin; his brother Lee Owen Shattuck (Melissa); his nephew Gavin of Medford, NJ; his sister Jennifer Shattuck Keown; his niece Lili of Fuquay-Varina; his brother Joseph Alex Clapp of Port Charlotte, FL; and his aunts and uncles, Lee Wood, Jr., Alice "Faye" Watkins, Linda "Darnell" Johnson (Don), Pat Adams, Steve Wood, Trudy Smith (David), Carolyn Currin, Kammy Thornton, Jack Brewer and Marjorie Myers.
