Though Ingrid may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Ingrid touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. She was predeceased by: her husband Uli. She is survived by: her son Mark Kops (Kelly); her grandchildren, Richard and Anna of Alpharetta, GA; her daughter Andrea Kops Scarboro (Brian); and her grandchildren, Alexander and Emily of Raleigh.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the "Alzheimer's Disease Research Fund" at Duke University's Duke-UNC Alzheimer's Disease Research Center. Checks can be made payable to Duke University with the name "Ingrid Kops" in the memo section and sent to: Duke Health Development.
