He was predeceased by: his parents, John Leoni Aslett and Florence Rose Alice Aslett; his sister Jean Pratt; his daughters, Maureen Aslett and Beverley Aslett; and his grandson Jason Palmer.
He is survived by: his wife Denise Aslett of Angier; his sister Doreen Richardson of Canada; his son John Aslett of Fuquay Varina, NC; his grandchildren, Joshua Palmer of Florida and Jessica Aslett of Cary; his great grandchildren, Ember Rose Sellers, Joshua Thomas Palmer, Aiden Palmer, MaKenna Palmer and Harrison Palmer; and his nieces and nephews, Carol Richardson of Canada, Susan Pratt of England, Gary Richardson of Canada and David Pratt of England.
